Aniimalia Band picToday, Aniimalia announce their brand new single “Silver Linings” release via Marshall Records, ahead of their performance in Donnington opening up the Avalanche stage on Saturday 11th June at Download Festival.

Hot off winning Kerrang!’s ‘The Deal’ after a unanimous decision from an esteemed panel of judges that included Sophie K (OWWWB / Kerrang! Radio), Kamran Haq (Live Nation), Loz Guest (Kerrang! Radio) and many more. Aniimalia were crowned the winners of a competition that saw over a thousand entrants take part.

Today the band reveal the first track from their forthcoming debut EP, to released on August 19th, 2022, titled “Pressure Points”.

“Silver Linings” brings an immediate hook into the listener and doesn’t let go. Creating a blend of Metalcore with subtle nods of Pop via an expertly crafted chorus. It’s a perfect combination of being an earworm without sacrificing any of the band’s raw intensity. The track, taken from the EP, was produced, mixed and mastered by the renowned Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins, Funeral For A Friend).

Regarding the song the band had the following to say: “‘Silver Linings’ was one of the first instances where we tried to be a lot more creative with our writing and think outside of the box. We really want to show people that we are more than a rock band, that we have a variety of influences from the pop-inspired vocal melodies, to heavy rock breakdowns. The lyrics reflect the world we live in, and how people break each other down to get ahead – you’re expected to find ‘silver linings’ in life rather than see the world for what it is”.

Alongside the single the band have unveiled their brand new video. Shot by Loki Films the video is the perfect visual representation of the fierce presence that the band create. Based in Bridgwater, South East England, Aniimalia are surely onto something truly special. Watch the video for “Silver Linings” below.

Having formed in 2020 the band used the stasis of the pandemic to begin their journey to launch their career as an act that world will need to take note of. The band’s influences span from Marmozets and YONAKA to Royal Blood and Beartooth and the EP is a five track look into the world of Aniimalia that is sure to ruffle more than a few feathers.
