Black & Damned sign new record deal with ROAR and announce new studio album “Resurrection”

Black & Damned band picPrepare for the rise of darkness – Black & Damned are ready to set the metal community ablaze! With their unique blend of epic power metal and dark, atmospheric sounds, the South German formation is now releasing their third album, which is set to be released in March 2025 under the auspicious title “Resurrection”.

On it, the band captivates with thunderous guitar riffs, intense rhythms and gripping vocals that whisk you away into a world full of myths and inner conflicts. Their music is a storm of power and emotion, perfect for anyone who wants to experience the ultimate metal rush!

Produced by ex-Primal Fear guitarist Stefan Leibing, Black & Damned have created a profound, melodic and melancholic heavy metal album with lasting anthems. The first single of the album will kick off on December 18th.

“Resurrection” will be released on ROAR (Grave Digger, Mystic Prophecy, Crematory and others), with whom Black & Damned have signed a new record deal. “In the fall of 2023, we had the first talks at the Donzdorf office regarding a collaboration with our new label partner. We agreed within the band that it was the label of our choice and that it was time to sign a new contract. We are very happy and confident about the future”, states guitarist Michael Vetter on behalf of the band.

“Black & Damned have literally cast a spell over me since their debut album, because this mixture of melancholic, dark elements and traditional heavy metal is not something you come across very often. At the beginning of the 90s, vocalist Roland Seidel sang with Wasteland, who quickly mutated into an insider tip in our part of the world and whose members later appeared in Primal Fear and Kashmyr, among others. With Black & Damned, Rolands class shines through even more impressively. In any case, Black & Damned is almost a southern German all-star band with first-class musicians who previously earned their spurs in acts such as Chinchilla, Pump and Licence. Now, ‘Resurrection’ is their new masterpiece. Mark your calendars for December 18th and look forward to the band’s heaviest song to date, which has been chosen as the first single”, adds ROAR label manager Markus Wosgien, who is noticeably proud of his new signing.
