Broadside to release new studio album “Nowhere, at Last” on April 10th 2026

Broadside Nowhere, at Last coverRichmond, Virginia alt-rock outfit Broadside have announced their forthcoming studio album, “Nowhere, at Last”, set for release on April 10th, 2026, via Thriller Records.

The announcement is accompanied by the release of the band’s new single, “Dark Passenger”. Watch the official video below.

“Dark Passenger” taps into that part of yourself that feels impossible to shake, the habits and patterns that become comfortable even when they are harmful. The song captures the exhaustion of fighting those instincts and the strange relief that comes with giving in, letting the darkness ride alongside you instead of pushing it away. It acknowledges how easy it is to confuse intensity with connection and how hard it can be to walk away from something that feels like home, even when it is quietly pulling you under.

Broadside’s vocalist Oliver Baxxter shares: “‘Dark Passenger’ is about that familiar inner shadow – when anxiety or depression stops feeling like a visitor and starts feeling like a roommate. It’s the push-pull of hating what it’s doing to you, but still embracing it, because the chaos of self-sabotage can feel so comforting”.

Broadside has never been a band to stay in one place for too long—musically or otherwise. The Richmond, Virginia-based band has spent the past decade carving out their own space in the pop rock scene. Drawing influence from The Killers, AFI, Kings of Leon, and Taking Back Sunday, their sound seamlessly fuses nostalgic rock energy with a fresh, modern edge. Their evolution has been nothing short of remarkable, taking them from underground favorites to genre staples, all while embracing the idea that growth and change are not just inevitable but necessary.

With Oliver Baxxter on vocals, Domenic Reid on guitar, and Patrick Diaz on bass and backing vocals at the helm, Broadside enters a defining new chapter with their upcoming album “Nowhere, at Last”, out this April via Thriller Records. The record captures the band in a more grounded and self aware space, reflecting on movement, identity, and the feeling of finally arriving after years of searching. While past releases laid the foundation, “Nowhere, at Last” represents a clear step forward, shaped by experience, growth, and a deeper understanding of who they are.

With their next chapter under the banner of Thriller Records, Broadside remains a band driven by passion, friendship, and the belief that growth is essential. More than just musicians, they are storytellers, channeling the wide-eyed excitement they once felt as kids dreaming of being in a band. With new music on the horizon in 2026, Broadside is ready to make their biggest impact yet—fearless, evolving, and unapologetically themselves.
