Cellar Darling UK Tour 2022 posterCellar Darling are pleased to announce a UK tour this autumn. After a 3-year wait, October 2022 will see the return of the Swiss progressive rock trio to our shores, for an impressive week-long run.

Cellar Darling stated:
“We are pleased to announce that this October, we are finally returning to the UK! We cannot wait to see you this autumn”.

Tickets are on sale now here.

UK Tour Dates 2022:
23/10 Glasgow, Stereo
24/10 Newcastle, The Cluny 2
25/10 Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
27/10 Manchester, The Deaf Institute
28/10 Leeds, The Key Club
29/10 London, The Dome, Tufnell Park
30/10 Dover, The Booking Hall

Cellar Darling released new track “Dance” last year, based about the mysterious dancing plague of 1518. It is an eleven-minute mammoth project that resembles a Celtic prog symphony more than a conventional rock song. Equally courageous and visionary, the trio of Anna Murphy, Merlin Sutter and Ivo Henzi broke new ground visually, as well.

Watch the “Dance” video below. Get the single digitally here.

Cellar Darling’s sophomore record “The Spell” was released in 2019. The record carries one away into the tale of an unnamed girl. Born into a world full of pain, damaged and debilitated by the human beings that inhabit it, we follow her as she searches for meaning in life when suddenly she meets and falls in love with death. This haunting concept album sees the band taking a turn towards heavy progressive rock while still not neglecting their folk roots.

Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu created enchanting videos for many of the album tracks, including a video for “Insomniav, which won “Video of the Year” at the 2019 Prog Awards.

Line-up:
Anna Murphy – Vocals, hurdy-gurdy, multi-instrumentalist
Merlin Sutter – Drums
Ivo Henzi – Guitars, bass
