To coincide with the release of “Post Traumatic Blues”, Corey Taylor also reveals a special album event for UK fans and a string of UK & European tour dates for November 2023.
On Monday 7th August, Taylor will be at Kingston’s Prizm for a special “An Evening With…” event, in association with Banquet Records. The event will include an interview with Taylor, hosted by Kerrang! Radio’s Sophie K, an audience Q&A and a few more surprises yet to be revealed. Tickets for the very exclusive event are limited and available from 11am on Tuesday 11th July. Get full info and tickets here.
Taylor and his band then return to the UK & European shores in November 2023 for a string of shows around the country and a handful of European dates. Full itinerary and ticket info below.
“CMF2” follows up Taylor’s 2020 solo debut “CMF”, which featured the #1 Billboard mainstream rock single, “Black Eyes Blue” and streaming favourite, “CMFT Must Be Stopped” (feat. Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie).
Adds Taylor:
“My first solo album was kind of where I was coming from. This album is more where we’re going”.
“CMF2” is Taylor’s first album for BMG and the first on his own label imprint, Decibel Cooper Recordings.
Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther, Amon Amarth), who produced Stone Sour’s 2017 “Hydrograd” LP, as well as “CMF”, returns for Taylor’s second full-length.
Taylor says of his studio collaborator:
“Together we have great ideas, great energy, and are quick to try everything. We’re not afraid to tell each other if it’s a good idea, or also a bad one; we have that kind of trust”.
