De’Wayne june coverToday, the Houston-born and Los Angeles-based rock artist De’Wayne announced his third studio album “june” set to be released on July 30th, 2025, via Fearless Records.

Along with the news, the title track “june” was released and it’s available to stream now.

While accessing the duality of humanity and harnessing the divine femininity through music De’Wayne is back with no shortage of soul, sex, sweat, and style. June – both the song and the character – is the heartbeat of this album.

“I wrote June because I had to – it poured out of me. I was heavily inspired by Talking Heads and Prince, but I wanted this to reach everybody; Young or old, whatever your background, we all know what it’s like to fall for someone who flips your world upside down. For the fans, I hope this shows that I’ve truly found my voice. I want them to feel my heart in this one – and maybe see a little of themselves in it too”, shares De’Wayne.

These songs are De’Wayne expressing his love, admiration and yearning for her and the title track is an anthem to strut to. It’s bold, powerful and undeniably for “june”, as it celebrates the feminine power and divine force she represents to him.

“This is my epic rock love album. I gave everything — blood, sweat, tears, love, sex, spirituality, and truth. Every song was a surrender, and June is the light guiding it all. I wanted to reframe vulnerability as a superpower, not a weakness, and use this record to show my evolution— not just as an artist, but as a human being. I believe this will stand as one of the most powerful rock albums of the year”!

This announcement follows the release of two powerful, anthemic tracks earlier this year “biological” and “highway robbery”. With his latest releases he establishes himself as a fearless trailblazer in rock, fusing genres with raw authenticity.

His new record is produced in collaboration with his best friend Dylan Bauld (formerly flor), who shaped about 95% of this record. The melodies came to life with the help of Brandon Colbein a true songwriting assassin who writes hits in his sleep.

Pre-save “june” here.

De’Wayne is on a mission to show the world that neither people nor music should be confined to one box. To stay up to date on everything he has coming up, click here.

Shedding any and all creative inhibitions, De’Wayne plays rock ‘n’ roll spiked with funk, R&B, alternative, and magic.

Emerging in 2017, the Houston-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer has amassed tens of millions of streams across “STAINS” [2021], “My Favorite Blue Jeans” [2022], and “I WANT YOU MORE THAN ANYBODY WANTS YOU” EP [2024].

In the wake of the latter, UPSET placed him on its cover and urged, “it’s time to sit up and pay attention” to De’Wayne. KERRANG! went as far as to christen him “one of the most electrifying new performers in the alt. world today.” He has established himself as the rare force of nature equally comfortable on a track with either Chase Atlantic and Masego, IDKHOW, Waterparks, grandson, WILLOW, Good Charlotte, and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine.

His music may have brought him close to the divine feminine in the past, but he finally learned how to open his eyes and gently embrace it— which is exactly what he does on his new music. Inspired by Lenny Kravitz, Parliament Funkadelic, Marvin Gaye, Ohio Players, Bill Withers, Nina Simone, Prince, Brandon Flowers, and Bruce Springsteen, he levels up as a proud black man, a son, a friend, a leader, an artist, and lover.
