In the year of the dragon, Heilung declares a much-anticipated Australia & New Zealand tour “Nidhrund Ferdhast” in Fall 2024. Known for their unparalleled ability to connect the past with the present through their mesmerizing performances, the ritual collective invites you on a transcendent journey through amplified history.
Weaving tapestries of compelling narratives reviving the ancient past, their rituals offer a glimpse of a time long forgotten, invoking the spirits of ancestors through deeply resonating music. Nidhrund Ferdhast, Heilung’s latest expedition, promises to be an immersive experience, inviting attendees to participate in a ceremony that celebrates the raw, primal essence of humanity.
Enhancing the atmosphere of Nidhrund Ferdhast is the addition of support by Eivør. A neo-folk artist hailing from the rugged shores of the Faroe Islands, Eivør’s music, like Heilung’s, is deeply imbued with the spirit of her environment. Her melodies, rich with the woven textures of love, nature, and mythology, serve as the perfect companion to the evocative realms that Heilung will bring to life on stage.
Early-bird tickets will go on sale this Thursday, March 7 at 23:00 CET / March 8 at 9:00 AEDT.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale next week Monday, March 11 at 23:00 CET / March 12 at 9:00 AEDT.
Come join the ritual. Tickets can be found here.
Alongside this tour, Heilung are also partnering up with non-profit organization Savage Lands. For the Nidhrund Ferdhast tour, for each ticket sold, Heilung will donate one euro to the non-profit organization. This will breathe new life in the forests of Costa Rica.

According to Greek philosopher Pythagoras, three is a divine number, signifying harmony, wisdom, and understanding. He also believed it to be the number of time – past, present, future; birth, life, death; beginning, middle, end. Purposefully or not, “Drif” embodies this philosophy, putting forth a divine work of art that ties together the beginning of civilization with the modern world today. Make no mistake, Heilung still does not represent any modern political or religious ideology, but rather delivers a humbling reminder of where we came from. “Remember, we are all brothers. All people, beasts, tree and stone and wind, we all descend from the one great being that was always there, before people lived and named it, before the first seed sprouted”.
“Drif” is available on vinyl, CD, cassette and as a digital download through the Season of Mist store, here.
