Fargo, North Dakota-based death metal faction Maul, who is about to embark on an East Coast tour with Gravesend late this month, this week announces another widespread tour for Spring 2024.
The previously announced The Stomped And Mauled On The East Coast Winter 2024 tour sees Maul joining up with NYC-based 20 Buck Spin labelmates Gravesend to attack the US East Coast from February 29th through March 9th.
Directly after the run with Gravesend has concluded, Maul headlines a week of dates through the Southeast and Midwest from March 10th through 16th.
Maul will then be back out on the road on the newly announced Spring MMXXIV Tour. This three-week assault will see the band touring alongside Primitive Rage from April 18th through May 11th, swarming the Midwest and West Coast. This tour surrounds Maul’s performance at the inaugural Austin Death Fest on April 27th and 28th where they’ll join Tomb Mold, Mortiferum, Outer Heaven, Sentenced 2 Die, Lunar Chamber, Witch Vomit, Civerous, Torture Rack, and more.
June sees Maul joining the three-day New England Death Metal Bonanza in New Hampshire alongside Maul, Malignancy, Scattered Remnants, and dozens of others at the end of June.
See all currently confirmed Maul tour dates below and watch for additional live announcements to post throughout the entire year as the band prepares to record their new album and first LP for 20 Buck Spin with Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording in the months ahead.

Maul impacted the US death metal underground through various demos, splits, EPs, and their “Seraphic Punishment” full-length debut in 2022. 20 Buck Spin picked them up on the strength of that first album and while the band painstakingly constructs their new full-length, they made their label debut with the “Desecration and Enchantment” EP in November. Captured in May 2023 at Signaturetone Recordings in Minneapolis (Ulthar, Obsequiae, Sunless), recorded, mixed, and mastered by Adam Tucker, the songs feature guest synth and sample work by Isthmus of Styx, and the EP is completed with cover artwork by S. Deloria Black Wolf.
Revolver Magazine wrote, “…the North Dakota crushers are poised to make waves in the current groundswell of young death-metal bands. Drawing from elements of doom without slowing their sound to a halt, Maul’s sound is uncompromisingly brutal — and in a way that feels fresh among their more overtly hardcore-influenced peers”. Invisible Oranges posted, “Unabashedly old-school yet disgustingly and refreshingly maximalist, Maul’s death metal stomps and splorches its way through your brain leaving little recognizable intelligence in its wake,” and Metal Injection issued, “This is a brief but sick EP. This is nasty death metal with a lil black metal essence peppered in”.
