Philip Shouse Side 1 EP coverWild Kingdom Records proudly announces the signing of acclaimed guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Philip Shouse, who steps into the spotlight with his long-awaited debut EP “Side 1”.

After decades spent sharing stages with some of music‘s most iconic names across country, rock, and heavy metal, Shouse embraces his own voice as frontman on this dynamic five-track release. On “Side 1”, he takes the reins as lead vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and producer, showcasing both his songwriting depth and musical versatility.

The record opens with “Run Away From You” and “The Naked Empress”, two tracks that crackle with loose, Stones-like swagger and sharp power-pop hooks. “It Gets Better” celebrates Shouse‘s melodic instincts and Beatles-inspired pop sensibility, while “Won‘t Let Go Again” and the closing “Time Bomb” weave acoustic and electric tones with cinematic light-and-shade dynamics reminiscent of Zeppelin and Heart.

Beyond his studio work, Shouse brings an extraordinary musical pedigree. Since 2019, he has been guitarist for the legendary German metal band Accept, touring internationally and appearing on multiple albums. His extensive career also includes collaborations with Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley of KISS, John Corabi (The Dead Daisies, ex-Mötley Crüe), and Rodney Atkins, performing and recording with rock and country royalty alike.

An Alabama native now based in Nashville, Shouse co-founded and co-hosted Thee Rock N Roll Residency, a renowned jam night that drew guests including Alice Cooper, Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), and Roger Glover (Deep Purple). Offstage, his entrepreneurial spirit shines through Rock N Röll, a Swedish non-alcoholic beer company he co-founded that combines Scandinavian innovation with rock‘n’roll attitude.

A lifelong student of classic rock and a self-professed Beatles devotee, Shouse embodies the heart of modern rock culture — blending reverence for tradition with fearless creativity. His career reflects both technical skill and a passion for keeping authentic rock energy alive.

Fans can look forward to an upcoming Scandinavian tour in March 2026, where Shouse will take the stage alongside Nicke Andersson (The Hellacopters & Imperial State Electric), Jesper Lindgren (Velvet Insane) and Mats Rydström (Abramis Brama) to bring Side 1 to life.

Wild Kingdom Records welcomes Philip Shouse to its roster and celebrates this exciting new chapter for a seasoned musician stepping proudly into his own spotlight.

Debut EP “Side 1” will be out on Februry 27th, 2026, via Wild Kingdom Records.
