Born on the Isle of Man, Silo exist in a place where time moves slowly and expectation rarely stretches beyond the horizon. Cut off from traditional scenes, circuits and cultural centres, the band found themselves shaped by stillness and distance. Rather than waiting for something to arrive, Silo turned inward, using isolation as fuel to carve out a sound that is confrontational, melodic and deeply human.
Today, the band announce their forthcoming debut album “Haze”, set for release on Friday, May 1st, 2026, via new label home Easy Life Records (Softcult, Normandie, Lonely The Brave). Coinciding with the announcement, Silo have shared their introspective new single “Crawl in a Bottle”. Watch the video below.
Produced by fast-rising producer Kel Pinchin (As It Is, Thornhill and Spilt Chain) “Crawl in a Bottle” distils feelings of isolation, restlessness and fractured identity into a volatile blend of post hardcore tension and grunge soaked weight. The track moves between moments of blinding clarity and disorientation, mirroring lyrics that wrestle with internal conflict and emotional unease.
Talking of the new single, Silo share: “‘Crawl in a Bottle’ is written from the perspective of someone experiencing therapy for the first time. It is an internal monologue shaped by self-awareness, discomfort, and the slow process of confronting personal truths. The sound balances warmth and tension with big choruses allowing space for reflection while still carrying weight and meaning”.
“Haze” is Silo’s debut album and a document of internal collapse, survival and uneasy acceptance. Written collectively in the room rather than assembled in isolation, the record captures moments as they happen, instinct over refinement, emotion over perfection. Across thirteen tracks, the album traces cycles of addiction, disillusionment, therapy, love, loss and identity, never offering easy resolution, only honesty.
Recorded over seven days at The Ranch Production House with Kel Pinchin (Split Chain, Thornhill, As It Is), “Haze” retains a raw immediacy that mirrors Silo’s live intensity. Thick, distorted guitars collide with melodic undercurrents, moments of aggression sit beside restraint and tension exists without release. It is music designed to be felt as much as heard, physical without losing emotional depth.
Emerging from isolation with purpose, Silo are not chasing trends or scenes. “Haze” is the sound of a band pushing outward from a quiet place, refusing to soften the edges and finding clarity inside the noise.
