Today Italy’s NWOTHM band Tarchon Fist announce the details of their fifth studio album, “The Flame Still Burns”, which will be released on April 28th, 2023, via Underground Symphony.
The band comments: “The genesis and development of this album are the result of what we did during the lockdown which the pandemic forced us between 2020 and 2021. The common thread throughout record is passion, a concept we tried to decline on every song”.
The video for the first single “Soldiers in White” deals with the emotional distress provoked by Covid pandemic. Watch the official video below.
Tarchon Fist states: “Covid-19 pandemic changed everything and that is a matter of fact. Despite the many restrictions which forced us to work remotely during repeated and sudden lockdowns, we never stopped pursuing our projects which have always been driven by the great passion for what we do. Therefore, we have chosen the passion in all its forms – for music, for sports, for the defense of the values in which each of us believes, such as love for our neighbor – as the main theme of this album. For example, on the song ‘Soldiers in White’ we tried to pay a fitting tribute to the medical and nursing personnel who lost their lives attempting to save the lives of other people during the pandemic. We imagined these heroes as soldiers in white, fallen but not forgotten”.
“The Flame Still Burns” was recorded and produced by Tarchon Fist at Roberto Priori’s PriStudio and Luciano Tattin’s Studio Tarconte.
The artwork was created by Mr. Stan W. D., who has already worked on the previous album “Apocalypse”.
“The Flame Still Burns” will be available as CD Digipak and Digital.
