Netherlands’ stoner and psychedelic doom rock act Thammuz, featuring former members of Dreckneck and Fuzzboar, have signed a deal with Argonauta Records!
Following their much acclaimed debut, “Into the Great Unknown” (2020), lauded by critics and genre fans alike, hitting a phenomenal #2 on the international Doom charts, Thammuz have been hard at work on their sophomore album during lockdowns, slated for a 2022-release.
“We are stoked to announce that we have signed with the Italian label Argonauta Records”, the band comments. “After the release of our first album, ‘Into the Great Unknown’, we were looking for the best way to release our upcoming album and we are proud that Argonauta teams up with us! Argonauta Records owner, Gero Lucisano, says: “I was in touch with Thammuz since their previous album, literally a blast of psychedelic fuzzy sonorities that really caught my attention, though as sometimes it happens time-plans did not collide and I had to skip it. In the meantime the band grew up a lot doing also a stellar self-promotion job and when it came there was a new album ready, it was really an easy decision.
