Since their inception in 2020, Thermality has swiftly ascended the ranks, garnering acclaim for their debut album, “Before I Get to Rest” released in February 2023. Building upon this success, the band recently unveiled their first EP, “Tales from the North”, in June 2023, receiving widespread praise from fans and critics alike.
Now, Thermality invites metal enthusiasts worldwide to embark on a journey with their new studio album, “The Final Hours” set to be unleashed on August 16th, 2024. Recorded at the esteemed Studio Fredman and expertly mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström, this album represents a pinnacle of the band’s creative prowess.
With influences deeply rooted in the golden era of melodic death metal, Thermality pays homage to iconic bands such as In Flames, Children of Bodom, Amon Amarth, and Arch Enemy. However, their sound transcends mere homage, offering a unique blend of old-school aggression and modern innovation.
Heavier yet melodically rich, Thermality’s latest album promises an immersive sonic experience. Today the first single “Stranger” is released along with a lyric video. Thermality’s latest masterpiece “The Final Hours” is scheduled for release on August 16th, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of melodic death metal.
