Thy Art Is Murder released their infamous, hugely acclaimed second album “Hate” a decade ago. The album debuted at no. 35 on the Australian ARIA Charts, marking out Thy Art Is Murder as the first extreme metal band ever to break the top 40.
Kerrang! called Hate an “exhilarating maelstrom of savage deathcore… as sophisticated as it is utterly chaotic”, with Metal Hammer UK dubbing it “one of the standout deathcore releases of 2013”. Off the back of the record, Rock Sound called Thy Art Is Murder “a shrewd, mercilessly tight death metal unit who can blast, crush and shred with the best of them”.
Today, the band are proud to announce a special “Hate” anniversary show for April 10th, 2023, in London. Support will come from Fit For An Autopsy.
