When Rivers Meet to release new live album “The Flying Free Tour Live” on July 29th 2022

When Rivers Meet The Flying Free Tour coverWhen Rivers Meet are pleased to announce the release of their live album, “The Flying Free Tour Live” on July 29th, 2022. The live album will be released on CD, DVD, vinyl, and digital. The CD and DVD will include a 12-page collectible booklet. Pre-order the live album here.

The live album was taken from recordings and footage from three concerts during WRM’s 17-date April and May 2022 headline UK tour.

“Our first-ever headline tour was amazing”, says WRM’s lead singer Grace Bond. “We wanted to capture some of the incredible moments. We’ve always enjoyed listened to and watching live recordings, and it’s been a dream of ours to create our very own”.

The live album features Grace Bond (vocals, mandolin, fiddle) and Aaron Bond (vocals, guitar) accompanied by Roger Inniss (bass) and James Fox (drums, keys, backing vocals). Together, the four talented musicians created an exciting and powerful stage performance in front of thousands of concert goers across the UK.

The live album features songs taken from WRMs first two albums, “We Fly Free” and “Saving Grace”, plus songs from their two EPs, “The Uprising”, and “Innocence of Youth”.

The live album includes approximately sixty minutes of performance footage. The DVD edition includes bonus features of crowd interactions and reactions.

The band tour the UK in October 2022 with special guest, Nati Dreddd. Dates include Cardiff Clwb Ifor Bach (October 14), Gloucester Guildhall (October 16), Huddersfield Parish (October 21), York Crescent (October 23), Southend Chinnery’s (October 27), Liverpool Arts (October 29), and Milton Keynes Stables (October 30). WRM’s special guest, Nati Dreddd, has been growing an army of global fans. In a quiet seaside town in the East of Scotland, 2021 saw her not only hit 2 million followers across social media platforms, but also hit the road supporting Tidelines and Newton Faulkner. After a successful run of livestream shows, Nati is looking forward hitting the road with When Rivers Meet.

WRM will also perform at three Planet Rock Rocktober concerts alongside Reef, King King, and The Damn Truth at O2 Bristol Academy (October 15), Wilko Johnson and King King at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (October 18), and The Sweet, King King and The Damn Truth at O2 Sheffield Academy (October 22). In 2021, When Rivers Meet were the first band to win four UK Blues Awards including Blues Band of the Year, Blues Album of the Year (“We Fly Free”), Emerging Blues Artist of the Year, and Most Inspirational Online Performance of the Year. WRM were also won Best New Band at Planet Rock’s awards The Rocks.

In May 2022, WRM won three more UK Blues Awards including Blues Album of the Year (“Saving Grace”), Blues Band of the Year, and Blues Vocalist of the Year (Grace Bond). WRM won Album of the Year (“Saving Grace”) at Planet Rock’s awards The Rocks 2022, beating Iron Maiden who came in second place. WRM also won the Blues Power Award at Planet Rock’s “The Rocks 2022”.
