Almost three years after their debut, Welsh rockers Scarlet Rebels are back with their sophomore release, “See Through Blue”, under a new music label this time. Picking up from where they left on their debut album, Scarlet Rebel are paying tribute to all their classic rock, blues rock and rock & roll bands that have influenced them through the years.

Lyrically, the band is not afraid to speak out loud about the political and social issues of their society – a thing that has taken global dimensions in the times we live in, cuz corruption, hypocrisy, and deception are the most common problems every country has to deal with due to the anti-popular measures which almost every government has taken against their people. We do live in dark times and it ain’t that easy for any band or artist to talk about that issues, especially today that media shut down every different opinion than the ones they present.

“See Through Blue” is a rocking album, apart from its political and social lyrical background, on the whole. Those who follow the band will be totally gratified by this new release. Furthermore, Scarlet Rebels’ reputation will grow over time, due to their well-crafted music, and the boost that will get for being in a major label which can introduce them to a bigger audience. This is a hard working band that deserve what they have achieved so far, but I do think that the best is yet to come…
