Following the successful release of “Oceans of Time” featuring Chaosbay, Denmark’s Aphyxion have just launched a video for their latest headbang inducing, infectious single.
The new single “Roll the Dice” mixes groove laden, heavy breakdowns with hard hitting, anthemic vocals which lead to an infectious chorus hook that will no doubt plant itself firmly in your subconscious for days.
Watch the video for “Roll the Dice” below.
“‘Roll the Dice’ is about listening to your intuition and being courageous enough to follow your dreams and desires. We want the people hearing it to stop and really ask themselves: am I happy with the way I live, or do I need to roll the dice and try something different for a change? Just take a leap of faith, jump in the deep end, follow your gut and trust that the pieces will fall into place along the way. This is what we felt we did back when we started the band: jumped into a project that gave us joy and the feeling of being part of something bigger than ourselves”, says bassist Jais Jessen.
In conjunction with the new song, Aphyxion announce their forthcoming new studio album “Ad Astra”, which is due for release on February 10th, 2023, via Circular Wave. The new full length will also feature two more guest appearances to add alongside the previous single “Oceans of Time” (w/ Chaosbay).

Aphyxion are not ones to succumb to genre definitions, and the release of their third full-length album “Void” in 2019 marked the switch from their death metal heritage towards a more contemporary metalcore sound, creating something that already elevated the band to a new level. This band keeps moving boundaries, for themselves but also for their ever-growing followership.
They were the youngest band ever to play at Wacken Open Air and have also had the opportunity to support the likes of Metallica, Soilwork and Soulfly, accumulating more than 450 shows all over Europe until today.
