Anthemic hard rock act, Austin Gold, release a new single today, “The Wire Defines”, the first from their brand new studio album “Ain’t No Saint”.
“The Wire Defines” is available across all streaming platforms and is accompanied by a video, filmed at a recent intimate underground cellar venue, in Stamford UK.
Watch the official video for the new single “The Wire Defines” below.
Mainman, David James Smith, spoke about this new single: “I feel ‘The Wire Defines’ captures that universal experience of feeling trapped in the daily grind. I was inspired by a remark I overheard, ‘I wish it was 1976’, so the song evokes nostalgia for simpler times, contrasting them with the frustrations of modern life. Yet, amidst the yearning for the past, the song offers a glimmer of hope, suggesting that we can break free from the chains that bind us. It’s a powerful anthem about finding solace in memories and discovering the strength to change our present. I hope it resonates with our audience”.
With regards to the album “Ain’t No Saint”, David continued: “The new album reflects a transformative period marked by personal challenges for me particularly. You’ll find that each track is a heartfelt expression, a diary entry in you will, capturing moments of struggle and triumph. Its some of my most personal work to date”.
To coincide with the single, Austin Gold are delighted to announce the pre-order availability of their new studio album, “Ain’t No Saint” scheduled for release on TMR Rock Records on October 18th, 2024.
