Countless Goodbyes Lost in Waves coverAfter a series of highly successful single releases in the first half of 2024, modern metal band Countless Goodbyes is now thrilled to unveil their highly anticipated sophomore, full-length studio album “Lost in Waves” set to be released on October 25th, 2024, via Prime Collective.

Alongside the album announcement, the band presents their fourth single, “Come Alive”, accompanied by an electrifying music video. Watch the official video below.

“Our new studio album ‘Lost in Waves’ seeks to unravel the depths of humanity, showcasing how our interactions and experiences shape us into the individuals we are today. Through its empowering message, the album strives to remind us that despite challenges in life and judgements passed by others, we each possess inner strength and resilience beyond measure. It encourages us to embrace our uniqueness and find solace in the shared journey of being human”, vocalist Onni Kivikaarre explains.

“While ‘Come Alive’ is about the adrenaline rush at the moment of demise. It captures that very short period between life and death when you realize you have crossed the point of no return. As fate becomes inevitable, all your instincts sharpen, and for a moment, you come alive”, he adds about the new track.

Countless Goodbyes quickly captured the attention of media and fans alike with their debut full-length album “Cycles”, which soared to the second position on the official Finnish physical record sales and the 17th place on the official Finnish album chart during its release week in 2019, catapulting them to the forefront of mainstream magazines and earning them a dedicated fan base on social media. Their energetic live performances have left sold-out clubs and festival audiences in awe, solidifying their status as a must-see act while already having shared stages with metal giants such as Asking Alexandria and August Burns Red.

The upcoming full-length album is written and composed by Onni Kivikaarre and André Rodriguez and produced by Rami Nykänen. Post-production was expertly handled by Joakim Karlsson of Bad Omens, with the album’s choirs arranged by Kat Marsh and Choir Noir (known for their work with Bring Me The Horizon, While She Sleeps, Architects). The final touches of mixing and mastering were entrusted to the award-winning Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Dimmu Borgir).
