After two months since the release of the first single “Where Did We Lose the Love”, a song that received excellent feedback from all the media around the world, Daytona return with this new musical episode “Looks Like Rain” and announce their upcoming debut album “Garder La Flamme”, due out on October 25th, 2024, via Escape Music. The album is a concentrate of spectacular songwriting, super melodies, extraordinary guitar riffings and keys plus a top production.
Guitarist Erik Heikne about the album: “We love the hard rock of the late 80s and with ‘Garder La Flamme’ we wanted to create an album clearly inspired by that era. Not only song-wise, but also sound-wise. We recorded the record old school, no software synths and with real saxophone, percussion and so on. It’s much more a result of the love of that music and sound, than nostalgia”.
