The US Headlining Tour will feature special guests Through Fire and Dropout Kings, and openers on selected dates Sinshrift, Tulip, REdEFIND, Semper Acerbus and Burden Of The Sky.
“20 years ago I stood in line after school at our local record store, On Cue, to purchase a record that would inevitably change my life, Ill Niño’s ‘Confession’! I learned all the songs back to back to sing with my first band ever. Fast forward 20 years later, I’m singing for the band I grew up idolizing, and relearning the songs that were the soundtrack of so many of our teenage years! I look forward to celebrating 20 years of ‘Confession’ with all the fans, and ready to bring you the best Niño show you have ever seen. See you guys in the pit”!, states Marcos Leal.
“I remember every detail while recording, and co producing this album ‘Confession’ with my brother, iconic producer Bob Marlette (Rob Zombie, Black Sabbath). While recording ‘Confession’, I never realized it would become Ill Niño’s biggest, and most successful release to date. ‘Confession’ is angry, dark, and beautiful. I am proud to bring everyone the 20 Year Anniversary of ‘Confession’! Come celebrate with us”, says Dave Chavarri.
“I must confess, we’re honored to hit the road with Ill Niño and be part of the 20 Year Anniversary Tour for Confession! I’ve always loved that album! Speaking of albums, we have a brand new one titled ‘Devil’s Got You Dreamin’’ coming out April 21st, 2023, via Sumerian Records! Our new single ‘Lose It’ is available everywhere now”!, says Justin McCain (Through Fire).
Dropout Kings are tentatively set to release their new album on April 7th, 2023, via Suburban Noize Records. “We are excited to hit the road with Ill Niño to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of ‘Confession’. They have an electrifying live show and I’m hyped to be able to watch it every night”, comments Adam Ramey (Dropout Kings).

East Coast born Ill Niño became the epitome of Latin rock music in 2001 with their monster debut album “Revolution… Revolución”. The band shared stages around the globe with the likes of Linkin Park, Disturbed, Guns N’ Roses, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack and more over a span of 22 months of consistent touring.
Strong airplay for debut single “What Comes Around” and slots on major festival tours such as Ozzfest, helped the album sell nearly 430,000 copies worldwide. In 2003, Ill Niño returned with sophomore release “Confession”, which managed to surpass their debut sales, selling over 600,000 copies worldwide. The success of “Confession” also spawned the top 10 single “How Can I Live”, which became the featured single on the Freddy vs. Jason soundtrack and film.
In 2022 Ill Niño returned with a revamped line-up and is prepared to drop one of Loudwire’s Most-Anticipated Rock/Metal Albums of 2021! With their explosive new singles “All or Nothing”, featuring Sonny Sandoval from P.O.D., “Mascara”, featuring AJ Channer from Fire From the Gods. fresh off multiple weeks as #1 on the SiriusXM Liquid Metal Charts, Ill Niño is prepared to unleash their new album, Illmortals in Summer 2023.
