WarlocK A.D. Book II: The Valley of Vâgené coverWarlocK A.D. have signed a two album international record deal with Rockshots Records!

The time has come! WarlocK A.D.’s sophomore studio album “Book II: The Valley of Vâgené” is to be released on September 27th, 2024!

Over two years in the making, this entry into the WarlocK A.D. saga is bigger, thicker and more powerful than anything they have brought you before!

Set directly after the events of “Book I: The Reserrection”, the album begins with Whiteacre The Mighty Warlock stranded in A Strange New World – powerless and alone. Though with the help of the Elven Prince Quinn Eilianther, Horatus the Mushroom Wizard and Ahriman Cullblade the Shadow assassin, Whiteacre the Nomad begins the long quest to “The Valley of Vâgené” – said to be the home of a gateway to the vast infinite multiverse. Danger awaits the brave heroes however, for Brittanni is ruled by the tyrannical Dwarf Emperor Thorumm III who seeks The Valley for his own nefarious purposes. The prophesised coming of a stranger to the land of Brittanni has awakened the gateway – and the race to multiverse has begun…

The album is 12 tracks of interwoven musical storytelling implementing the use of motifs, themes and callbacks. From the sweeping orchestral movements of “The Golden Showers of Prestønia” to the frantic folk metal flavorings of “Rothgar Warsong”, the album combines the sound and styles of various iterations of orchestra led melodic metal – culminating in what feels like a fully fledged D&D style epic told through the medium of a Heavy Metal Musical.

The land of Brittanni holds many secrets, and not everything is as it seems…

The quest to “The Valley of Vâgené” continues with the single “The Golden Showers of Prestønia” coming today 21st June on all digital platforms that you can watch below.

“The Golden Showers of Prestønia” is the first track on the album with a real traditional power metal feel, it’s a cautionary tale as Whiteacre fails to heed the words of the Wizard, disturbing a magical pool and awakening the deadly Siren, Uriña (performed by Dani Bentham of Wailing Banshee). This track also tells of the moment the Party is joined by Ahriman Cullblade the Shadow Assassin, having just saved Whiteacre’s life. This track was actually heavily inspired by the track “Burn” by Deep Purple – which also details the story of a dangerous female presence – something which can be heard especially in the song’s post solo section. The track also evokes a traditional symphonic metal feel through the use of the duet vocals between Whiteacre and Uriña the Siren.

Pre-order “Book II: The Valley of Vâgené” here.

Separated from his brothers following an intense battle with Bôl-Saïx the Decimator, Whiteacre finds himself powerless and stranded as a Nomad in a strange new world… in the Land of Brittanni…

With the help of Quinn Eilianther the Elven Prince of Sherwood, Horatus the Mushroom Wizard and Ahriman Cullblade the Shadow Assassin, Whiteacre the Nomad makes for a gateway to the multiverse…

The Valley of Vâgené

But perils await the party – The greatest of them all being the Mighty Dwarf Empire of Lochnagar, Led by the Evil Emperor Thorumm III…

The fate of Brittanni – nay, the entire multiverse – rests in these heroes’ hands…

“Onward we ride…”
