Dushan Petrossi commented: “‘No Greener Lands’ is a song about something I think we can all relate to: always looking for something better somewhere else, without realizing the value of what we already have. I wanted to capture that feeling through strong and memorable vocals melodies – which will stick in your head, powerful riffs and an epic atmosphere. It’s a song with a message, but also all the energy and emotion that define Iron Mask for me”.

With “Crimson Prophecy”, Iron Mask deliver a powerful statement that reaffirms the band’s place among the finest names in the neoclassical metal scene.
Led by guitar virtuoso Dushan Petrossi, Iron Mask return with an album that combines breathtaking musicianship with what ultimately matters most: great songs. “Crimson Prophecy” is packed with majestic arrangements, soaring melodies, powerful riffs and an extraordinary level of guitar work, balancing classical influences and virtuoso performances with the intensity and immediacy of classic heavy metal.
Dushan Petrossi stated: “With ‘Crimson Prophecy’, I wanted to create an album that feels both powerful and diverse, while staying true to the spirit of Iron Mask. Each song has its own personality, mood and story, but they all share the same passion for melody, epic arrangements, heavy metal with strong choruses and the neoclassical guitar work that has always defined my sound. I really pushed myself creatively on this record, and I feel it’s one of the most varied and exciting albums we’ve made so far”.
Adding another major dimension to the album is the return of legendary vocalist Mark Boals behind the microphone. Renowned for his extraordinary range, unmistakable tone and ability to combine power with remarkable melodic sensitivity, Boals delivers a truly commanding performance throughout the record. His voice proves once again why he has long been regarded as one of the defining vocalists of the neoclassical metal genre.
From the intricate guitar passages to the epic arrangements and unforgettable choruses, “Crimson Prophecy” is an album where technical excellence never overshadows the songs.
Dushan Petrossi and Iron Mask have crafted a record that feels both timeless and contemporary, celebrating the grandeur, passion and virtuosity that define the very best of neoclassical metal.
