Hotly-tipped, Sydney quartet, Melrose Avenue, have announced a European & UK headline tour in Winter 2027, ahead of their Download Festival appearance this weekend.
The band will be joined by Arankai in the Ireland and in the UK.
Speaking of the tour, vocalist Vlado Saric shares: “We knew this summer would be absolute madness – packed-out festivals, sweat, chaos, and some wild crowds. So we wanted to get back to those people asap and turn the heat up even more. Bigger stages, heavier songs and louder nights. We love the beautiful chaos of touring overseas and this run is going to get wild. See you in the pit”.

Emerging from Australia’s modern heavy scene with unstoppable momentum, Melrose Avenue have rapidly become one of the genre’s most talked about new names. Blending towering metalcore energy with arena sized hooks and an instinct for viral connection, the band have cultivated a global audience that stretches far beyond their roots, amassing more than 2.8 million followers across social media alongside over half a million monthly Spotify listeners.
In 2024, Melrose Avenue signed with Hopeless Records, marking a major turning point in the band’s rapid ascent and setting the stage for their international breakthrough.
Driven by the commanding vocals of Vlado Saric alongside guitarist Mitchell Black, drummer Jed McIntosh, and guitarist/vocalist Shawn ‘Red Curl’ Mayer, Melrose Avenue channel the emotional intensity and explosive power of acts like Bring Me the Horizon, Memphis May Fire and Papa Roach into a sound entirely their own. Their latest singles, “Taste” and “Bad Guy”, continue to showcase the band’s ability to balance massive riffs, anthemic choruses, and raw emotional weight with a polished modern edge.
Following a breakout rise online, the band took that momentum to stages across the world in 2025, selling out their debut UK and European headline tour and cementing themselves as one of heavy music’s fastest rising live acts. With a fiercely dedicated fanbase and an ever expanding international presence, Melrose Avenue are proving they are far more than a viral success story. They are a new generation rock band built for global impact.
